Sweet & Spicy Coffee
Description:

This hot, spicy coffee drink has several variations, so what it becomes in the end is entirely up to you! Be sure to splurge on the whipped cream to top it off, and savor each sip.


Ingredients: Print Ingredients

1/2 cup cream
3 Tblsp. dark brown sugar
1 tsp. powdered bittersweet cocoa
2 cups strong, freshly brewed coffee
2 ounces of liquer: Kahlua or brandy
2 cinnamon sticks
Freshly whipped cream



Prepare
:

In a heavy saucepan over low heat, warm up the cream and blend in the sugar and cocoa. When smooth, stir in the coffee and increase temperature until mixture is hot, but not boiling. Remove from heat.


How To Serve:

Pour the coffee mixture into two mugs, and stir one ounce of liquer into each. Slip a cinnamon stick into each mug and top with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
