Slippery Savory Garlic Noodles
Description:

We love these noodles, because they're so simple and delicious. Remember the scene in Lady and the Tramp when they were sucking on opposite ends of one piece of spaghetti? That's what this recipe reminds us of. Be sure to use the best quality aged Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese to shave over the top for a flavor that will make you sigh with pleasure.

Ingredients: Print Ingredients

1-1/2 cup noodles, such as spaghetti, penne, or fusilli
2 tblsp. extra virgin olive oil
3 garlic cloves, crushed and chopped
1 tsp. chili pepper flakes
1 tsp. garlic salt
A small handful of Italian parsley, chopped finely
2 tblsp. freshly grated Parmigiano

Prepare
:

In a large saucepan, boil water for noodles and cook with a pinch of salt and a splash of oliive oil until al dente. Drain and place in a bowl.

In a skillet over medium heat, saute the garlic until it becomes golden brown. Add chili pepper and garlic salt. Pour over the cooked pasta; toss and sprinkle with parsley and cheese. Stir, and the cheese will melt slightly against the noodles.

How To Serve:

Eat immediately, while the noodles are warm and slippery.
